Praises and exceeding joy filled every corner of the hall of Ikya Studio 1 in Skøyen, Oslo as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4thwatch) of Norway celebrated five years of God’s amazing grace on September 10,2017. Despite the rainy weather and the chill of an early fall, nothing could stop the brethren to display their immense gratitude for God’s steadfast love.

The worship started with praises and singing exalting the name of the Lord which stirred the spirits of every attendees. Ptr. Myrna Librado, the dedicated worker of Norway gave the welcome remarks and expressed her gratitude to the guests who opened their hearts to the invitation of the brethren. She then extended her warm greetings to this year’s keynote speaker, Ptr. Violy Concepcion, the passionate coordinator of Philippi District. After the welcome remarks,  Sis. Kamille Ruaring, a diligent worker from Marbella, Spain delivered the message of blessings by emphasizing the reasons why we need to be encouraged in the ministry of giving.

“This time is no longer for us, but for God.” – These words by the beloved guest speaker encouraged everyone to use their time wisely, especially in serving God.  Ptr. Violy Concepcion also reminded the assembly about the fleeting time and gave significance about Christ’s return. The words of God moved the hearts of 30 visitors out of 89 attendees, resulting to 1 baptism.

In the afternoon service, the Norway brethren prepared an extraordinary presentation entitled “That’s eternity!”. Personal evangelism and God’s love were showcased through dances and singing. Another highlight was the heavenly version of the game show called Deal or No deal, where the contestant sees the contents of each case and must decide if it’s the right way to get into heaven. The fervent prayers and fasting of the church led to victory as God’s faithfulness was manifested through this momentous anniversary of Norway Locale. To God be all the glory!
