As eager as the first day, the brethren prepared for the daily morning prayers and heard the message from Pastor Eva Quines, where she discussed the apostolic way of prayer and how each should embody this. She stated that the apostolic way is to pray in the spirit, to pray continually, and to always pray with tears. Before the brethren knelt down to pray, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol exhorted the Word profoundly making the Holy Spirit more welcome in prayer.
Bishop Aldrin Palanca conducted the 1st seminar of the day with the topic, “Obedience in Apostolic Ministry” where he explained how important it is to obey the apostolic ministry because it is what leads the Church to follow Christ, it unfolds God’s mysteries, and prepares the Church to be perfect before Christ. “What’s left of the night? The 4th Watch!” – Bishop Aldrin spoken with conviction of the truth that the Church in the 4th Watch is the last watch until Christ’s coming for the 2nd time.
During the 2nd seminar, Bishop Domingo Ferriol instructed the delegates on rightful obedience to God. His seminar about humility and obedience was how humility plays a major role in becoming obedient servants of God. He reiterated examples of obedience from the Bible, including Jesus, the apostles, and of course, the Goodman of the House. As he said, “Ang ating gagayahin ay ang kapakumbabaan ng Panginoon,” Bishop Domingo encouraged the brethren to follow Christ’s example of humility.
Apostle Arsenio Ferriol testified on the mighty works of God at the 3rd seminar, where delegates were even more delighted to see not only the Apostle but also hear the Word from the Goodman of the House. A pleasure it was for the brethren to hear from the Apostle narrate how the Church has grown, from one small parade to a complex overflowing with delegates. Proving with his life and works embraced by obedience to God he said, “When you see your footprints, see to it that your footprints are with Christ.”
After the symposium with Bishop Arturo Ferriol, the delegates’ spirits were ignited through the heart-rending and dazzling theatrical presentation from Gilead Area entitled “The Goodman of the House.” It showed how the ministry of the Apostle came to be from birth until the present.
Glorious joyful singing filled the complex thereafter as the South Bay Praise and Worship Team led the congregation. In jubilant spirits, the congregation was once again thirsting for another round of meditation of God’s Word.
Bishop Jonathan Ferriol exuberantly voiced out the need of people to have a restart in life with the topic, “Stopped by God.” He explained how sometimes experiences can be too convenient for some and so, God issues stop orders to the lives that need restarting. He assured the delegates that every great man of God had at least experienced to be stopped by God for once, a perfect example of this is the Goodman of the House, before he committed and obeyed to the ministry given to him.
Today is a day of restart, as Bishop Jonathan uttered. The Apostle and Bishop Arturo gave their prayers as well for the souls who desired for a restart. A day of revival, a remake, a refresh indeed it was for the whole congregation. It was just as Bishop Jonathan said…
“I am a new creation of Christ”
