Even in the early hours of the morning, the brethren are still full of energy to participate once again in the 4th day of convention. Pastor Violy Concepcion encouraged the brethren in the rightful way of praying and how these prayers can be used as elements to further the apostolic mission.
Bishop Osinando Quillao taught thoroughly during the 1st seminar about obedience to the apostolic doctrine and ways. He stated how the brethren should always be careful of their actions, most especially the protection of the salvation received from God.
At the 2nd seminar, Bishop Jonathan taught about profiles of obedience. Brethren had an even more in-depth understanding of the obedience that God expects His children to have in the days preceding the coming of Christ.
To talk more about obedience, the Goodman of the House shared the Word during the 3rd seminar. He fortified the brethren’s sense of submission to God’s will by reminding them that the Holy Spirit in fact empowers every single disciple into living a life of total obedience to God.
In the afternoon, a heavenly sight greeted the congregation as the Bible students and Associate in Theology students gathered in one place to reaffirm their dedication in the MBS Night. Students from the North America, Europe, and Middle East Extension Bible Schools marched gallantly in the aisles of the AATF Sports Complex. With pride, they wore the emblem of the ministry. They were followed by the faculty of the MBS and partakers for the evening’s event.
Bishop Arturo Ferriol educated the congregation on how the Bible depicts the present time as the last hour. In his message entitled “The Workers Called in the Eleventh Hour,” he discussed how wonderful the eternal destiny of the Church is. The fact that the Bible is linear, as opposed to the familiar phrase of ‘history repeats itself,’ what’s bound to happen is guaranteed to come true.
As a response to the call of the need of missionaries, the youth rushed to the stage, ready to once again make a decision of offering their lives to the ministry. The bishops laid their hands over the men and women who had marked their dedication on the very same night. The Holy Spirit’s moving is evident in the cries of adulation and petition as the brethren sealed their dedication with tearful prayers.
A night of decision. A night of proclamation. A night for the MBS and the future ministers. The convention may be nearing its end, but it also is nearing the fulfillment of the prophecy of Christ.
