God’s mark was made on the city of love last September 23, 2018, as the Parisian brethren came together to celebrate their 13th Church Anniversary. The successful event was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, with guests and brethren totalling 135 and 62 of which were visitors. As the hall continued to fill with many guests, the morning Sunday School service commenced with inspiriting songs. A video presentation was displayed during the morning service. Energised by the Spirit, the Master of Ceremony, Sis. Anna Magnaye and the Paris praise and worship team moved and lead the congregation to worship. The hall was once again filled with joyful and spiritual singing. To officially open the start of the Divine worship, an opening prayer was rendered by Ptr. Eva Atiwan, head pastor and worker in Belgium locale. The congregation was reminded of the various Church updates and events to pray for through the announcements, which were given my Bro. Frank Villanueva. The Scripture Reading followed, which was delivered by Bro. Rene Aligora. Heavenly songs of praise were performed by brethren from Belgium locale and Bro. Luis Concepcion. Once again, the brethren were encouraged to give their best for the Lord as the offertory message was delivered by Ptr. Jessette Noche, Sub-coordinator of Philippi District’s Blue Area and Pastor of Nice locale. The final celestial song of praise was performed by the Paris Chorale. The divine message was spoken through Presbyter Ptr. Violy Concepcion, the seasoned and faithful Coordinator of the Philippi District. The heartfelt message stirred the hearts of the brethren and guests; which moved them to accept the altar call. A total of 6 souls were baptised on this day. A warm congratulatory speech was also rendered by one of the special guests for this year’s anniversary, the Ambassador and Consulate of the Philippines. The resounding success of Paris locale’s 13th Church anniversary is another testament of Gods great hand in Europe and we can be assured that the faithfulness of God will continue to strengthen and make His church victorious. Gloire à Dieu!
