Every year it’s the same routine, we go to the grocery store and contemplate which turkey is best to buy, then we go home and make dinner that is enough to feed ourselves for a week. Not many of us really understand why we do thanksgiving, sure it was established here in the United States as a celebration of the first harvest in this new land (back then), but did this generation really forget why we celebrate Thanksgiving? First of all it is to give “Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens” – Abraham Lincoln. Yes, thanksgiving is not about a turkey, but to praise our Father in heaven who gives us everything that we need.

Abraham Lincoln first established this holiday through the first harvest here in America and to give reverence to God. Today, we celebrate it mechanically with just a dinner when it should also be with reverence to God. So, the PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay has prepared an evening service in relation to Thanksgiving, a service that gives gratitude to our heavenly Father and bring back the original celebration of this holiday. We did not forget about the dinner, so we have prepared a home made meal that you will enjoy. Lets enjoy this event by fellowshipping and giving praise to God. So come and join us in our Thanksgiving service. You will not regret fellowshipping with us in this event. Bring a friend, bring your family. Our Service will be held in our sanctuary located at 1019 W. 182nd St. Gardena, CA 90248 on November 22, 2012 at 5:00 PM. Listen, eat and be blessed.
