The first ever Italy Area Fellowship, happened on April 26, 2016, as the five local churches of Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH of CHRIST (4th Watch) in Italy gathered together in a beautiful gym court in the city of Novoli, Florence.  Brethren from Milan, Florence, Rome, Cagliari, Malta and also from Turin Extension Worship. The divine gathering started with the singing of praises and worship headed by Sister Lea Zonio, from Florence Locale, followed by an opening prayer lead by Pastor Rosenda Calcat of Calgiari Locale. The reading of the Holy Scriptures was led by Brother Rey Manarang, who is also our missionary from the pioneering work in Malta.  Brethren expressed their love to the mission as Pastor Fina of the local church in Rome administered the message about supporting the work of the Lord. Meanwhile, song of praises that were offered by the brethren from Florence, Cagliari, Rome and Milan locale choir prepared the congregation for the meditation of God’s word delivered by Pastor Tom Salanap, who is the Head Minister of the local church of Milan. He emphasized the importance of unity in the church led by the Goodman of the House. The theme of the fellowship was “Unity in the faith through Apostolic Ministry” (Ephesians 4:13). It made the brethren realize how blessed we are to be a part of an Apostolic Church in the End-time, leading them to be more committed in faith and service to the Lord.

After the lunch break, everyone got ready and prepared for the fellowship hour: the sport fest activity. It was started with a parade of colors. Each color represented one of the local churches who participated in the gathering; red and white for Milan, red for Cagliari, blue for Florence and yellow for Rome. Cheering competition, basketball for men, volleyball for women, tug of war for adult and kids, and all other minor games made the whole day more energetic and full of fun.  We played it, we loved it, and we enjoyed it!

At the end, the awarding for the winners who demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and camaraderie concluded the sport fest event.  We praised the Lord for the success of the fellowship.  The travel by airplane by the brethren from Cagliari and the four to six hours of land travel by those from Rome and Milan was not easy, but it was all worth it and more as God blessed with abundant spiritual blessings that whole day.
