To prepare the hearts of the delegates for the early morning prayer during Devotion, Pastor Raquel dela Cruz discussed how prayer was once Jesus’ strongest defense when He was still on earth. She said that prayer can be a defense in decision makings, in doing the will of God, and in times of need for the Lord is faithful to His promise of hearing and answering those who call upon Him.
Pastor Jun Alano spoke during the 1st seminar with the topic about faith and obedience entitled, “The Obedience of the Father of Faith.” He said that obedience is an evidence of one’s faith to God, further discussing how this eventually results to a fruitful service to God. He said that though hardships come along with service, God will always be willing to extend His grace to those who serve Him with faith partnered with love.
The Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol, delightfully proclaimed the pure and untainted Word of God during the 2nd seminar as he exhorted how one can be enlightened when having the Word of God delivered by the sent ones.
Pastor Polly Mendoza conducted the 3rd seminar with the topic. “Overcoming Doubt and Obedience.” He instructed that though doubt comes in many forms, may it be in rejection or pride, man can overcome this by deciding on the winning side, asking for Godly wisdom, acting on faith and praying always.
Pastor Levi Ferriol led the 4th seminar about obedience in the family, instructing the brethren on how behind every growing local church are families that are obedient in the teachings of God. He taught that the blessings of God flow through the hearts of obedient people and God favors them the most. As he said, an obedient family is essential to a better service for the Lord.
The Ministries Night highlighted the different departments in the Church which focused on the education ministry of the Church which where the Maranatha Christian Academy (MCA) and the National Christian Life College (NCLC) were built, having over 129 chapters all over the Philippines and displaying God’s blessing to His Church to have an institute that is able to produce educational modules that is used by MCA and NCLC school system.
The Spirit was even more present during the Worship service as Bishop Osinando Quillao deliberately expounded on his topic, “Ministerial Stewardship over God’s Dominion through Apostolic Ministry.” Being that a ministry is a trust from God, he stated, the Church should commit and devote to the work that was appointed by Christ through the Goodman of the House. He encouraged the delegates that each should choose to be a trustworthy servant of God, being good stewards of the ministry that was given to the Church.
Tears filled the complex as the delegates rededicated themselves in prayer led by Bishop Osinando, tears that aren’t of sorrow but of overwhelming joy brought by the grace of trust from God through His sent ones. As Apostle Arsenio Ferriol prayed over the congregation, one can’t help but cry out to the Lord in the desire to dedicate one’s life to the various ministries in the Church. Bishop Jonathan Ferriol sent off the delegates to their respective quarters with a prayer of dedication.
