Charming and energetic are two adjectives that can be describe for Barcelona. This city in Spain is one of the most interesting destinations in Europe. By the grace of God, not only has this city been used for the settlement and livelihood for some Filipinos, but the PMCC 4th Watch was able to establish a thriving local church and it has recently commemorated their 13th year of inception! Their celebration was held on the 7th of July at the very grand hall of Aquarella Hotel in Catalanes. A total number of 86 attended the said gathering with 36 invited guests had experienced this wonderful work of God. The service began with a series of Audio Visual presentations of video testimonies were presented by Sis Katrina Pascual, an MBS student. After which, the divine worship followed immediately. Songs, prayers and praises were magnificently offered to God by the Praise and worship team steered by Sis Shannen Caliboso. This holy and special worship service was graced by Sis Kamille Muncada, worker from Marbella local, who partook as the Master of Ceremonies. Ptr Eva Atiwan head Pastor of Belgium Locale led the invocation prayer and Sis Marie Mendoza, co-worker in Madrid locale had given the church updates of gatherings. Sis Julie Cabrillas, the worker in charge of Barcelona and all the brethren had also welcomed the powerful couple, Ptr Tom and Ptr Tes Salanap as their keynote speakers for this year’s anniversary. The former is the Sub-coordinator of Red Area while the latter is the Yellow-gold area Sub- coordinator. Both are the incumbent head Pastors of Madrid Locale. Ptr Tes in her offertory message endeavoured the brethren to give excellently because God has not withheld His manifold blessings to us. She also introduced the keynote Speaker for the worship service, Ptr Tom Salanap. As he exhorted the congregation, all of the visitors were touched and many of them accepted the gift of salvation and 10 souls were added to the church on that day. Praise the Lord! With the Barcelona choir, cadets’ choir and Bro Keyvin Fernandez rendering spirit – filled music, the brethren offered their special thanksgiving offering for the Lord and the furtherance of the mission as a manifestation and testament of God’s goodness. A child dedication was also witnessed by the congregation ministered to by Ptr Tes. After the worship service, some refreshments were participated by everyone as they were in wait for the gospel concert. Here the members of the host local, glorified God once more with their talents much to the delight of the attendees. As the day ended, everyone thanked God for the victory He accorded to this momentous celebration of His grace! Glory to God!
